The press service of the inspection said that monitoring and analysis of applications from subscribers of Uzdunrobita showed that the quality of provided mobile communication services worsened.
Besides, the company illegally used 48 basic stations in various regions of Uzbekistan with temporary permission of the Center for electromagnetic compatibility.
The inspection said that MTS Uzbekistan illegally used 15 basic station of 3G standard and 9 GSM stations in Tashkent, 3 GSM stations in Surkhandarya region, five GSM stations in Samarkand region and one GSM station in Andijan region.
The operator also illegally used three GSM stations in Kashkadarya region, 2 GSM stations in Namangan region, 3 GSM stations in Jizzakh region and seven GSM stations in Karakalpakstan.
State Communication Inspection said it ordered Uzdunrobita to stop use of these illegal basic stations from the date of receiving notification.
It also said that non-fulfillment of the order will lead to suspension or abolishment of license, issued to Uzdunrobita.
MTS Uzbekistan is a largest mobile communication operator in Uzbekistan. In the end of the first quarter of 2012, the company has 9.1 million subscribers.
