Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 June 2024, citizens of Uzbekistan will be able to visit Thailand without a visa.

The Thai authorities have canceled the visa regime for tourists from 36 countries, including Uzbekistan, from 1 June.

This measure is aimed at stimulating the country’s tourism industry.

The visa-free regime also applies to tourists from China, India, Kazakhstan and other countries.

The period of stay in Thailand without a visa for citizens of these countries is extended from 30 to 60 days.

Before the introduction of this measure, Uzbek citizens could stay in Thailand for up to 30 days, subject to obtaining a visa on arrival.
