Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Between January and July 2024, Uzbek citizens who installed solar panels sold electricity to the state for a total of 4.8 billion soums, according to the "Tashkent City Electric Networks" company.
The company clarified that 1 kilowatt-hour of electricity can be sold for 1,000 soums.
Payments to citizens were made through the mobile application of the State Tax Committee, Soliq.
