Uzbek citizen wanted by authorities detained in Moscow
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An Uzbek citizen, who had been wanted by law enforcement, was detained in Moscow, according to the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Bukhara region.
The detainee, a resident of the Gijduvan district, N. N., had been on the run and was wanted on suspicion of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan (intentional infliction of moderate bodily harm).
The man had been evading investigation, and as a result of law enforcement efforts, he was placed on the wanted list.
After necessary measures were taken, N. N. was detained in Moscow and extradited to Uzbekistan for further proceedings.
