Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 May 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi, in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Foreign Ministies focused on implementation of the agreements reached on April 25, 2019 during the bilateral meeting of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President Xi Jinping within the framework of the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, in Beijing.

The ministers discussed preparations for the upcoming SCO Summit in Bishkek, emphasizing their interest in its successful outcome, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

The sides exchanged views on current international and regional issues.
