Uzbek children to be treated in Germany

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A group of children from Uzbekistan left for Germany on 17 February 2011, where they will be treated in leading clinics of the country, Sog’lom Avlod Uchun (For New Generation) Charity Fund said.

The fund noted that children were sent to Germany at the assistance of Friedensdorf International Charity Foundation (Germany).

Children from Uzbekistan have been treated in European clinics since 2002 in line with three side agreement among Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, Sog’lom Avlod Uchun and Friedensdorf International.

Within the agreement, 450 children with various diseases from all regions of Uzbekistan underwent treatment and operations in Germany in 2010.

At the same year, 14 children at the age from 1 to 12 were sent to Germany. Currently, nineteen children from Uzbekistan are staying in Germany.
