Uzbek chemical industry produces goods for 671.3bn soums in Jan-Sep
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Enterprises of Uzkimyosanoat (Uzbek Chemical Industry) state joint-stock company produced goods for 671.3 billion soums in nine months of 2009, which is up 12% year-on-year.
The industry produced consumer goods worth 42 billion soums in the reporting period or it grew by 17% year-on-year.
Production of mineral fertilizers comprised 830,200 tonnes in January-September 2009, of which 716,800 tonnes were nitrogenous fertilizers (up 4.5% year-on-year) and 113,400 tonnes were phosphate fertilizers (up 3.3% year-on-year).
Uzkimyosanoat said its enterprises fully meet export forecasts for nine months of 2009, but it did not disclose the sum of exports.
Within modernization, technical and technological re-equipment, two project for 5.5 billion soums were completed in the reporting period.
