Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The team from the Uzbekistan Chefs Association had a successful performance at the 7th season of the International Culinary Championship, held in Lahore, Pakistan, from 27 to 30 January 2025. Uzbek chefs demonstrated their skills and earned 2 gold medals, 1 silver, and 1 bronze.
The prestigious competition saw participation from chefs around the world, including from Sri Lanka, the USA, the Maldives, the UAE, Iran, Morocco, Türkiye, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and many others. The performances were judged by top-tier experts.
The Uzbek chefs showcased national dishes to the judges, highlighting the richness and diversity of Uzbek cuisine. This success further confirmed the high level of culinary traditions in the country, as well as the professionalism and talent of local chefs.
