Today, the car industry of Uzbekistan is made up of a dozen of modern companies that manufacture products meeting world standards. The companies can easily adapt to new types of products.

At present, its companies produce passenger buses and lorries under the Isuzu brand, cars Damas, Nexia, Matiz, Lacetti under the Chevrolet brand, as well as assemble Epica and Captiva cars.

The Uzavtosanoat marks its 15th anniversary with the start of a new plant to produce engines for GM Powertrain Uzbekistan.

Last year, the GM Uzbekistan joint venture produced over 195,000 cars, and the Samarqand plant produced 2,000 buses and lorries.
