Uzbek broadcaster, GlaxoSmithKline to develop TV programmes
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan (NTRC) and British pharmaceutical company, GlaxoSmithKline, discussed issues of expansion of placement of GlaxoSmithKline advertisements.

Vice President of British company Rui de Silva held negotiations with NTRC administration and presented this offer in Tashkent on 15 July. The sides also considered development of programmes on healthcare.

The sides agreed to continue consultations on considered issues and mutual cooperation.

GlaxoSmithKline was founded in 2000 by merger of Glaxo Wellcome and SmithKline Beecham companies. Headquarters is located in Brentford near London. It is the second pharmaceutical company in the world (after Pfizer) on volume.
