The decision was adopted in line with the state programme “The Year of Well-Being and Prosperity” which was approved on 14 February 2013.
According to the programme, the banks will allocate loans for 110.1 billion soums to family and private businesses, as well as craftsmanship.
The loans for 106 billion soums will be directed to ancillary and dehkan farms to organize crop production and purchase of cattle.
Commercial banks of Uzbekistan will issue 53.5 billion soums to 15,000 graduates of professional colleges to help them to launch their own businesses.
The programme said that the loans will be issued to stimulate business activities of population, development of family businesses and craftsmanship, ancillary and dehkan farms.
The issued loans will also help to increase income of population from entrepreneurship activities, improve well-being of population, create new jobs, attract college graduates to business sector.
