According to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, the banks allocated 286.9 billion soums to finance projects of young businesses.
In the reporting period, youth families received mortgage loans worth 150.4 billion soums, consumer loans – 87.8 billion soums and educational loans – 47.3 billion soums.
The commercial banks also issued microloans for 116.2 billion soums in ten months of 2013 to finance business projects of college graduates, which rose 2.7 times year-on-year.
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan said that the commercial banks issued 643.9 billion soums of mortgage loans to young families in 2008-2012, consumer loans – 287.7 billion soums, educational loans – 103 billion soums, loans to young businesses, artisans and farmers – over 1.6 trillion soums.
In 2012, the volume of issued mortgage loans increased by 3.1 ties, consumer loans – 2.3 times, educational loans – 11.3 times, loans to young businesses, artisans and farmers – 2.9 times.
