Uzbek Aviation Security body officials hold talks with Singaporean envoy
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Officials of the State Inspection of Uzbekistan over flights security (SIFS) held negotiations with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Singapore to Uzbekistan with residence in Singapore Zulkifli bin Baharuddin.
The delegation of Uzbekistan included the head of the SIFS Tolib Uljaev and his deputy Oleg Lim, as well as representatives of the State Commission on ICAO affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, Singaporean envoy expressed gratitude for the meeting and support of Singapore at elections to the Council of ICAO, which was held in September-October 2010.
The sides considered issues of developing cooperation in training specialists for civil aviation within the ICAO and Singapore special programme on training of specialists for developing states and other issues of mutual cooperation in civil aviation.
