Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 August this year, in Baku, an Uzbek delegation consisting of leading think tanks held a meeting with the director of the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources of Azerbaijan, Javid Abdullayev.

The event was attended by representatives of the International Institute of Central Asia (ICA), the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR), the Institute for Macroeconomic and Regional Studies (IMRI), the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies (ISRS), the Information and Analytical Center for International Relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan ( IACMO).

Within the framework of the meeting, the strategies implemented in the countries related to the transition to alternative and renewable energy sources, prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in this direction were discussed.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources of Azerbaijan is interested in establishing close cooperation with Uzbekistan in the field of renewable energy, "green" hydrogen, etc.
