Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the credentials from Uzbekistan’s new Ambassador Bakhtiyor Ibrahimov.

The ceremony took place at the "Akorda" residence, where ambassadors from six other countries were also in attendance.

In his speech, President Tokayev emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to the principles of peaceful foreign policy and its dedication to international cooperation in accordance with the norms of the United Nations Charter. He highlighted the crucial role of the UN in maintaining the global system and expressed readiness to advance both bilateral relations and multilateral cooperation.

President Tokayev underscored that Kazakhstan is a dynamically developing country striving to build a sustainable economy, which necessitates active international engagement, including with the countries represented at the ceremony.

In closing, he congratulated the ambassadors on the beginning of their diplomatic missions and extended best wishes to the leaders of their respective countries.
