Uzbek Ambassador meets Czech leader, hands over credentials
Czech President Václav Klaus and Uzbek envoy Bakhtiyor Gulyamov
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Czech Republic with the residence in Berlin, Germany, Bakhtiyor Gulyamov handed over credentials to the President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus, Jahon news agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reported on 21 October.
According to the official website of the Czech President, the ceremony took place in Praha on 15 October.
The Uzbek news agency said in its report that the Uzbek envoy and the Czech leader considered current affairs and perspectives of relations between Uzbekistan and Czech Republic in such areas as political, trade-economic and cultural humanitarian.
Czech President Václav Klaus expressed interest in further development and deepening cooperation between the states in all areas of mutual interest, the report concluded.
