Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United Kingdom Ravshan Usmanov held a meeting with Priti Patel, the Shadow Foreign Secretary and Member of Parliament for the House of Commons.

During the talks, as reported by the Dunyo news agency, Ambassador Usmanov highlighted Uzbekistan's extensive reforms and achievements across various sectors, including political, economic, social, and cultural areas.

Priti Patel praised the reforms taking place in Uzbekistan and affirmed London’s interest in further expanding bilateral relations. The two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural, and educational fields.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue the dialogue and take practical steps toward realizing the existing potential and further strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom.
