The competition is carried out in line with the requirements of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan “On measures on ordering activities of taxis” from 18 May 2011. The resolution approved regulation, which set single requirements of external and internal appearance of taxis, as well as equipment with taximeters.

In line with the governmental resolution, the agency developed a special regulation on holding of tender for supply of taximeters and identification marks for taxis. The regulation was registered by Justice Ministry on 19 August 2011.

The agency said that the tender will allow to procure standard and affordable taximeters and identification marks for taxis.
