Uzavtosanoat to create logistic center in Tashkent region
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzavtosanoat joint-stock company, uniting enterprises of car industry of Uzbekistan, will invest US$50 million to create logistic center in Angren, Tashkent region, in 2009-2011.
The center will allow to optimize transportation of ready vehicles of GM Uzbekistan, an Uzbek-US car marker, and spare parts to the plant.
Uzavtosanoat created Mahsus Yuk Trans, independent transport company, which will transport vehicles and spare parts.
It is planned to buy 230 lorries for US$32 million and purchase necessary equipment to newly created logistic center. The project will be financed due to own resources of Uzavtosanoat.
Uzavtosanoat is 100% state enterprise and it unites enterprises of car industry of Uzbekistan. It was founded in 2004 and now unites 20 enterprises, including 11 joint ventures.
