Uzagrosugurta collects 17,5bn soums of insurance premiums in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- State joint stock insurance company Uzagrosugurta collected insurance premiums for 17.5 billion soums in the first quarter of 2013, which rose by 42.3% year-on-year.

In the reporting period, the company signed 1,133,858 insurance agreements. The volume of liabilities made up 5.6 trillion soums.

Uzagrosugurta made 1.962 billion soums insurance payouts in the first three months of 2013, the press service of the company said.

As of 1 April 2013, the volume of investments of Uzagrosugurta made up 47.4 billion soums. The growth of investments rose by 69.74%.
