UzACI, India’s Genpact hold negotiations in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Uzbek Agency for Communication and Informatization hosted a meeting with Senior Vice President of Genpact (India) S. Singh on 24 May 2012, the agency said.

The meeting was organized within the implementation of agreements, achieved during the visit of the Uzbek President Islam Karimov to India in May 2011 and the visit of the State Minister of Communication and Information technologies of India Sachin Pilot to Uzbekistan in October 2011.

Genpact founded in 1997 and currently is one of leaders in management of business processes and information technologies in India. The company works in 16 countries. In 2011, its income made up US$1.6 billion. It employs 55,000 people.

During the meeting, the sides considered joint activities on development and production in software industry. The sides expressed interest in stage-by-stage development of cooperation.

The Indian delegation will hold talks in several state bodies and ICT enterprises of Uzbekistan.
