Uzbekistan 09/01/2009 UzACI founds new magazine for library workers

UzACI headquarters in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information (UzACI) founded a professional scientific-practical magazine “Kutubxona.Uz” (Library.uz), the first issue of which will be published in the beginning of 2009.

The agency said the magazine will help to inform library workers with latest development in the sphere and use of ICT technologies to improve service for population, as well as share experience of foreign and local organizations.

The magazine will come out four times a year. It is planned that the magazine will have its own website.
