Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21 September 2023, negotiations took place between the management of the joint stock company Uzbekistan Temir Yollari (UTY) and the Chinese company Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd. (XCMG), where the parties discussed the prospects for fruitful mutual cooperation. This was reported by the information and analytical media center of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari.

The meeting was held under the leadership of the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari JSC Z. Narzullaev and the Chairman of the Board of the Chinese company XCMG Wang Min.

During the negotiations, both parties noted the successful work of the UzXCMG joint venture, which produces various construction equipment, including crawler and wheeled excavators, loaders, bulldozers and graders, special vehicles for quarries and other road construction equipment in accordance with Chinese technology.

Issues of increasing the level of localization of equipment production through direct investment from a Chinese company, reducing prices and expanding the range of products were also discussed. Both parties expressed interest in increasing sales volumes not only in Uzbekistan, but also in the countries of Central Asia.

The negotiations ended with an agreement on the further development of partnership and strengthening of mutually beneficial relations between the joint stock company Uzbekistan Temir Yollari and the Chinese company XCMG. This cooperation will allow both parties to expand their capabilities in the construction equipment market and contribute to the development of infrastructure in the region.
