Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A Chinese company is set to invest US$30 million in constructing an agricultural machinery plant in Ferghana region.
The khokim (governor) of the Ferghana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, met with Chinese investors to discuss the establishment of agricultural machinery production in collaboration with the company.
During the meeting, investors provided details on the technical and economic foundations of the project, which will require an investment of US$30 million.
In the initial phase, the project is expected to create jobs for 200 people, with the potential for up to 2,000 workers once fully operational.
Additionally, there was a consensus on the need to develop a "roadmap" addressing the project's location within industrial zones, the preparation of relevant documentation, and the overall implementation of the project.
