US State Department delegation visits Uzbek Foreign Ministry
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A delegation led by the US Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Susan Elliott paid a visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 30 May 2011, the press service of the Uzbek ministry said.
The sides discussed issues on strengthening bilateral cooperation in politics, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres within the agreements, achieved during the second round of the Uzbek-US consultations in Tashkent in February 2011.
The sides also exchanged opinion in international and regional issues of mutual interest.
