US firm participates in rehabilitation of ancient Koran

Wei’TO of the USA participates in rehabilitation one of the ancient copies of Koran “Usman Mushafi” (Usman’s Koran), 12.uz reporting quoting the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.
The Committee on Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs is carrying out practical work on preservation and rehabilitation of Koran “Usman Mushafi”.
In particular, disinfection cooling and drying equipment of Wei’TO was purchased for library of the Uzbekistan Muslims’ Board, where the ancient Koran stored.
Wei’TO President Richards Dak Smith visited Uzbekistan in June 2009 and he held educational-training courses. He showed methods of disinfection of valuable and ancient manuscripts, books and papers.
During the training, many manuscripts and books, stored at the library of the Uzbekistan Muslims’ Board, were disinfected, the report said.
