UpStream BPO to hopen an office in Syrdarya region of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of IT Park held a meeting with the founder of the famous Malaysian outsourcing company UpStream BPO Ahmed Qayyum.

UpStream BPO is already established as one of the leading BPO service providers in Asia, with over 5,000 employees and offices in Malaysia and Singapore.

During the meeting, Ahmed Qayyum confirmed his intention to open a new office in Syrdarya region of Uzbekistan, which will expand the company’s presence in Central Asia.

The decision to open an office in Uzbekistan is in line with UpStream BPO’s strategy to expand into emerging markets and take advantage of growing economic opportunities in the region. Uzbekistan, due to its geographical location and dynamic economic growth, is an ideal base to serve both local and international markets.

UpStream BPO’s new office in Syrdarya will focus on several key business functions, including human resources, financial technology, cybersecurity and general business process outsourcing.

To study the human resources potential and educational system of the country, a meeting was held with representatives of INHA University, as a result of which an agreement was reached on the joint training of specialists and their subsequent employment in UpStream BPO in Uzbekistan.

As part of Ahmed Qayyum’s visit, a meeting was also held with MAAB Innovation to deepen cooperation and sign a memorandum of cooperation to attract MAAB Innovation graduates to the new UpStream BPO office. A meeting was also organized with Unicall to discuss possible joint projects.

The opening of the new UpStream BPO office is expected to significantly increase Uzbekistan’s export potential in the field of information technology and create high-quality jobs, which will have a positive impact on the local economy.
