The bank’s branches in Qoqand and Tashkent, centers of the densely populated districts of Uzbekistan, are sending and issuing remittances. The remittances are conducted in US dollars.

The bank started to work with the system on the eve of 8 March.

Infrastructure of Zolotaya Korona-Money Transfers system in Uzbekistan exceeds 1,000 points in 170 settlements of Uzbekistan. Half of financial institutes of Uzbekistan are partners of the system.

The banks of Uzbekistan issued over 3,500 client cards to senders of remittances.

In 2011, the system sent US$2 billion remittances from Russia to Uzbekistan, which exceeded turnover on all directions in the CIS states.
