Overall, UNIStream turnover in Uzbekistan comprised US$603 million in nine months of 2008 or grew by 126%, the statement of the system said. It added that it transferred over US$267 million in the same period of 2007.
Director-general of UNIStream Suren Ayriyan noted in the statement UNIStream is one of the leaders in Uzbekistan with the market share of 30%.
Ayriyan said the Central Asian region is very perspective and UNIStream works to provide affordable and quality services to population through its partner network.
Currently, UNIStream has over 539 service points in Uzbekistan and the number of partner banks reached six, he said. Ayriyan underlined that among them are Asaka Bank, Bank Ipak Yoli, Halq Bank and Hamkorbank.
