Located in Samarkand, the center will provide its clients all necessary services, including transfer with automatic currency exchange and addressless money transfer. The remittances are carried out in US dollars and euros.
The clients will receive unified client cards (UCC) and consultations on money transfers. The center, located in the center of Samarkand, will also provide information materials and booklets.
The first such center was opened in Bukhara city in May 2011. The center, which was launched to improve quality of service and provide comfort, is popular among clients. Taking into account high results of the branded point, the system management adopted to develop specialized center further in Uzbekistan.
UNISTREAM President Souren Hayriyan said this innovation became one of memorable events in the money transfer market of Uzbekistan. It symbolizes transfer to new absolutely new level of offered services, he added.
He said that the system actively opens specialized centers. It already launched centers in Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Great Britain, Cyprus, Greece, and Israel.
UNISTREAM said that it cooperates with 14 financial institutions in Uzbekistan and has over 1,200 remittance points. In the first half of 2011, the turnover of UNISTREAM in Uzbekistan grew by 30% year-on-year and number of transactions by 14%. Currently, 80% of remittances in Uzbekistan are carried out with UCC.
