UNIG-SERVIC LLC fined for violation of antimonopoly laws
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- State Demonopolization Committee of Uzbekistan fined UNIG-SERVIC LLC for violation of the antimonopoly legislation. The fine size made up 70 minimal salary size.

The committee said UNIG-SERVIC LLC won a competition, held by the State Property Committee on 26 January 2010, to manage state assets in business entities, which was grouped into two lots.

Each lot includes several enterprises, including four shares package with 35% stakes. Lot 1 included shares of Surkhandarya Viloyat MTPlar birlashmashi, Termiz Tadbirkorlar Markazi, while Lot 2 included Shymbay May and Shomanay Communal Hizmati.

The competition was held on 26 January 2010 and the State Property Committee and UNIG-SERVIC LLC inked agreement on 18 March 2010. In line with the agreement, it enters into force immediately after it was signed and has power for a year with possible extension.

UNIG-SERVIS LLC asked the State Demonopolization Committee to allow to manage these companies after the agreement signed and entered into force. So, the company violated article 15 of the Law “On competition and limitation monopoly activities in goods markets”.

The State Demonopolization Committee fined UNIG-SERVIS LLC at the size of 70 minimal size of salary and ordered not to repeat violations in the future.
