The Fair was organized for the fourth time with the aim at implementing priority tasks on speeding up modernization, technical and technological updating production capacities, increasing production of competitive products.

The event gathered key players of the construction, agriculture, healthcare, pharmaceutical, information technology, science and education sectors to demonstrate new advanced technologies, materials, products and services to Uzbekistan market.

The event gathered key players of the construction, agriculture, healthcare, pharmaceutical, information technology, science and education sectors to demonstrate new advanced technologies, materials, products and services to Uzbekistan market. The exhibition served as a platform for communication between suppliers and consumers from both local and international markets through interaction at the various thematic sessions. One of the sessions of the Fair was dedicated to wide discussion of the renewable energy sources and energy efficiency.

While attending the event representatives of the joint UNDP/GEF Project have established contacts with interested organizations, exchanging information on future activities. Number of organizations expressed their interest with the topic of energy efficiency and innovative ideas to further introduce energy saving measures in their buildings and offices.

Participation of the Project in the Fair was envisaged as part of project’s activities, aimed at attracting attention of and establishing contacts with more industry drivers, as well as raising their awareness of the importance of the using innovative energy efficient materials and technologies in the course of design, construction or reconstruction and maintenance of buildings.
