The exhibition and forum are planned as a significant event informing the wide audience as well as professionals in the field of information technology with the practice of creating and implementing projects in software development in Uzbekistan.
All achievements and prospects of the software industry, designed for businesses, public institutions and the public will be demonstrated at the exhibition. The National Forum of Programmers will bring together leading experts in the field of development and implementation of software products, and will allow them to discuss latest achievements, share their experiences and conduct master classes.
The date of the exhibition and forum was not chosen randomly - it falls on the International Day of Information Society - May 17th - announced by the International Telecommunication Union in 2005. And from that point of view, the exhibition is seen as a unique contribution of Uzbekistan into the international initiative.
Among the even participants will be international and local IT companies, software producers, content developers, service providers, research and educational institutions, representatives of ministries and departments. More than fifty companies in the software market have applied for participation in the exhibition, also about 200 IT companies will participate in the Forum.
The exhibition will include seminars, conferences, broadcasts of presentation programmes, exchange of experiences on the implementation of successful projects in the industry. Participation in the exhibition and forum will enable exhibitors to present and promote their products; consumers will be able to learn about the goods and services. In addition, the exhibition is to open new prospects for business expansion by raising awareness of customers and establishing new business contacts.
During the exhibition, the awarding ceremony of the Republican contest winners in the following categories will be organized:
