As a tradition, the Presidents of Brazil and the United States will make first speeches at the UN General Assembly on 28 September. Before general debates, the UN Secretary General will present his annual report on work of the organization, the UN News Center reported.

According to preliminary arrangements, heads of Poland, China, Jordan, Russia, South Korea, Iran, France, Qatar, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Portugal and Mozambique will deliver speeches in the first half of the first day of the general debates.

The General Assembly will host the summit on sustainable development after 2015 on 25-27 September 2015. It is expected that President of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Russia and Ukraine will make speeches on 27 September.

Director of General Assembly and ECOSOC Affairs Division Mr. Ion Botnaru told the UN Radio that record number of heads of the state and governments will gather in UN headquarters in New York in September.

He said that 155 countries from 193 member-states of the UN confirmed their participation. He recalled that the summit is conducted when the organization marks 70th anniversary of the organization. He said that the summit will determine global agenda in development sphere for next 15 years.

The document, which is planned to adopt at the summit, included 169 clauses, which the states should implement in next 15 years. The document includes 17 goals and trillions of US dollars will be needed to implement them.
