UN, CSTO ink cooperation declaration in Moscow
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and CSTO Secretary-General Nikolai Bordyuzha signed a declaration of cooperation in Moscow, Russia, on 18 March 2010.

The sides agreed to combat global threats, prevent conflicts and fight against crimes.

Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) was founded in 2002 based on the agreement signed by the CIS states in 1992. The CSTO includes Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The CSTO received observer status at the UN in 2004.
