Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Asia’s taekwondo championship among juniors ended in the capital of Jordan, Amman. The national team of Uzbekistan participated in these competitions in full composition, and our taekwondo fighters won 2 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals.

The winners of the championship in their weight categories were the prize-winner of the junior Olympiad Ulugbek Rashitov (-55 kg) and Jasur Jaisunov (-68 kg), who were awarded gold medals. Azizjon Uktamov (-48 kg) won the silver medal, Abdulaziz Khamidullaev (-63 kg), Marat Mavlonov (-78 kg), Feruza Sodikova (-63 kg) and Ozod Sobirjonov (-55 kg) won the bronze medal.

As a result, the national team of Uzbekistan took the third place in the Asian championship in the team championship. It should be noted that the young taekwondoists of our country for the first time won gold medals. And Ulugbek Rashidov was named the best taekwondo player of the Asian Championship.h
