The conference was organized at the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Uzbekistan. Along with top managers of Interpipe, Ambassador of Ukraine to Uzbekistan Yuriy Savchenko attended the conference. Representatives of leading oil and gas companies of Uzbekistan participated at the conference.

At the conference, representatives of Ukrainian firm presented new electric steel-melting complex Interpipe Steel, strategic investment programme, as well as new solutions for oil and gas industry of Uzbekistan.

Director of sales of pipes to CIS and Europe countries Vera Smal said that today oil and gas industry of Uzbekistan develops with high tempo and the volume of oil and gas production is increasing, as well as new fields are exported. Interpipe has longstanding experience on supply of solutions for oil and gas industry to various regions of the world.

Vera Smal said that the company works in the market of Uzbekistan for over 15 years and supplies pipes for oil and gas production. Launching own capacities, the company can offer new quality products to its partners.

CIS sales director Pavel Begma said that the company supplied about US$40 million products in 2012. He said that currently, Uzbekistan is a key market for Interpipe and today it presented its new products.

Interpipe is a vertically integrated steel pipe and railway wheel company. It is among the ten largest producers of pipe products and the third largest producer of railway wheels in the world. The Company’s products are supplied to 80 countries all over the world through a chain of commercial offices located in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Europe, the USA and the Middle East.

In 2012, enterprises of the company produced 1.2 million tonnes of pipe and wheel products.
