Within the regular Uzbek-Ukrainian dialogue, it is planned to hold meetings and talks in Tashkent, which will focus on current state and perspectives of bilateral relations.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the visit of Kostyantyn Gryshchenko to Tashkent will take place 5-6 February 2012.

Kostyantyn Gryshchenko will hold negotiations with the leadership of Uzbekistan to discuss cooperation in energy sector, which is important for Ukraine as Uzbekistan has large volume of energy resources.

The Ukraine side said that the trade turnover between two states increased three times year-on-year in 2011 to US$911 million.
