During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of developing and expanding cooperation between the UK Embassy in Uzbekistan and the Academy of Interior Ministry.

The guests received information on main directions of the Academy’s activities. They also considered issues of cooperation between law enforcement bodies and training specialists.

The Uzbek side expressed gratitude to the embassy representatives for assistance in organization of the visit of the Academy delegation to the UK in autumn 2009 to study experience of British police and training specialists.

British side expressed readiness to establish more close cooperation with the Academy. The sides determined perspectives of interaction during the meeting.
