Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 22 February 2020, the UEFA Champions League Cup was presented in Tashkent. The cup was brought in the capital of Uzbekistan by the UEFA and Pepsi Uzbekistan.

Everyone from among the residents and guests of the capital became part of a grand event organized by Pepsi for football fans who registered in the Telegram bot. A lot of entertainment, one way or another connected with the most popular sport, did not let anyone get bored. At the same time, of course, the cult trophy, the main club award of European football, became the center of attraction and the main part of the celebration.

Commenting on the event, the director of International Beverages Tashkent, Muzaffar Salijanov, said: “For many years, the Pepsi brand has supported sports and especially football, the number of fans of which in Uzbekistan is incredible. And we are pleased to give them the opportunity to capture the moment with the legendary trophy here and now, which will soon be in the hands of the best team - the winner of the UEFA Champions League.”

The UEFA Champions League Cup is a silver amphora with an internal gold plating with a height of 74 cm and a weight of 7.5 kg. On the back wall of the trophy, played since 1955, the names of clubs that won different seasons in the tournament are engraved. The current owner of the cup is the English club Liverpool.
