ICTExpo 2009 is one of the important events in IT sector of Uzbekistan and three-day event will start in Tashkent on 23 September. The exhibition demonstrated new developments in IT sector.

UCell Director-General Oguz Memiguven, said the ICTExpo exhibition became traditional arena for demonstrating latest achievement in information-communication technologies. He said the exposition of UCell will present information about the company’s services and visitors can receive professional consultations.

UCell exposition will present tariff plans of the company and its various services, innovative technologies, including tariffs Among Friends, Be Closer, services U-Zone and DJ, etc. Visitors also can receive information on 3G network of the company.

The company said it is working on development of its 2.5G and 3G networks. The company installed over 2,000 base stations. The company is working on installation of UMTS/HSDPA equipment at largest cities of Uzbekistan and they will be commissioned soon.

FE COSCOM LLC was founded in 1996. From June 2008, the company has been rendering services under UCell brand. The company serves over 4.7 million subscribers as of the end of August. UCell enters to TeliaSonera Group, seventh largest telecommunication operator in Europe
