Ucell offers new opportunities for dealers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Modern business is impossible without effective partnerships. “Tell me who your partner is, and I’ll tell you who you are” - so can be paraphrased the famous with regard to the realities of business relations. The issue of establishing partnerships and dealer relations becomes particularly relevant when it comes to high-tech companies, which include, of course, cellular service providers. Therefore, we decided to meet with Sales Director of Ucell Elchin Jabarov and ask him some questions.

- Ucell’s dealer network was created slowly and carefully. How do you assess the role of dealers in the success of your company?

- Of course, our work is directly related to dealers. You cannot create major offices in every village of the republic, and there is no need for that. Dealers possessing high mobility and knowledge of the realities of the local market are capable of carrying out a huge amount of work to promote the brand, make us attractive on the mobile services market. All we have to do is maintain loyalty and boost motivation of dealers. I hope we are doing just that, because to date 2,500 dealers across the country successfully work with our company.

- At a recent press conference it has been reported on the “Mobile dealer” project. Could you tell us more about it?

- The “Mobile dealer” project is designed to empower dealers. Imagine a specially equipped car, a mobile storefront or mobile counter you can use to quickly and efficiently serve customers on the street, not forcing them to rush through the city in search of a nearest office or stationary dealer location. Mobile dealer is indispensable in areas where there is no office or fixed point of a dealer. An attractive opportunity for potential customers, is it not? The project is intended to attract new subscribers, ensure more complete coverage of the regions, improving the brand image of Ucell. A client of such mobile will enjoy all the services, as special cars are equipped with copy machines, printer, computer with Internet access, mobile cash register, and it promotes convenient and quick service to subscribers.

- What other new features do you suggest to dealers?

- Perhaps you have heard about our latest offer for dealers – the “Ucell+” program, which was launched in early July, 2012. We have created it for effective development of a network of dealer sales offices with the provision of additional services to subscribers, such as replacement of SIM cards. As you know, to date, this service is only available in own sales offices. However, the sales department in conjunction with the customer service department decided to provide an opportunity for a limited number of dealers operating in remote areas, to implement a service of SIM card replacement on their own. In the first phase, this service will be available in Angren, Yangiyul, Akhangaran, Bekabad, and then we will extend the gained experience in other areas and regions of the country.

- And what about the contests for dealers?

- Contests are an excellent means of motivation, and we're not going to give them up. Currently, sales department conducts contests on a regular basis: “the best dealer to deliver records” and “Best operator”. Quarterly we determine the candidates, and then select the best and award prizes and souvenirs of the company.

One of the most important and traditional competitions is also the “Best Dealer” contest. For those partners who contributed most to the development of the company's business during a certain period of time, we will organize a prestigious international tour. Thus, over the past three years the best dealers had an opportunity to visit countries such as Turkey (Antalya), UAE (Dubai), and Malaysia. This year we are also planning a trip to one of the most exotic countries of the world.

Sales department is constantly developing incentive programs for dealers, which makes us attractive partners. Another contest, which we recently launched for the dealers, is a photo contest “I love Ucell”. Its terms are quite simple: any dealer can send us original photos with reference to Ucell. As a result the authors of the best photos of the contest will be awarded valuable prizes.

In addition, this year we have prepared some pleasant surprises as an incentive for the dealers! So let our dealers work, sell and earn!

- How do you keep in touch with your dealers? You meet with them only during special visits or inspections?

- Of course not, we work with dealers in a very close and constant contact. Here we have our own know-how to be proud of. In particular, we have developed CRM software - a unique project that has been created and implemented in May, 2011 thanks to the staff of the Sales Department of Ucell. Today, this program provides an opportunity to see any dealer office, allows automatic adjustment to congratulate the dealer on his birthday and other holidays, to observe the activity of dealers, to learn about the presence of disturbances, the number of connections and much more. We will continue to work to expand the CRM functions, the features of which allow us to combine many thousands of dealers in a single database. I want to emphasize that all of the designs I mentioned are unique in Uzbekistan. We also specifically created dealer group “Ucell Dealer” at Facebook. In this group, dealers from all over the country chat with each other, as well as employees, and are aware of all the latest news, share their achievements and successes, joys and problems. Loyal dealers devote poems to us and place them on our homepage. It is very nice to get positive feedback from our dealers, to feel their spirit and desire to communicate. Dealers are our family, and success of Ucell highly depends on them.
