Director-general of UCell Oguz Memuguven handed over Chevrolet Captiva to citizen of Tashkent Ergash Japbarov.
Ergash Japbarov said: “I did not think that I can win a car in campaign. When I received a call and told me that I won a Chevrolet Captiva, I thought it is a joke. But now it is fact and I am owner of the car.”
Carucell campaign was held from 16 August 2010 to 31 January 2011 and it became one of the most popular campaigns. About 253,000 subscribers of UCell participated at the event. Any subscriber of UCell can participate in the campaign with putting 5,000 soums or more to their balance.
Within the campaign, UCell subscribers can fine one of 2,400 prizes, including five Chevrolet Captiva cars, 50 LCD TV-sets, 25 washing machines, 100 microwave owns and 250 DVD players, 500 toasters, and others.
Over 30,000 subscribers, who participated at the campaign and collected not enough points, received 30 minutes for internetwork communication and 30 SMS within Uzbekistan.
Oguz Memuguven stated: “I am happy activity of our subscribers and ordinary people from various regions won cars and other thousand prizes. We did all possible to ensure that campaign was transparent and fair.”
