Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 November, Deputy Trade Representative of Russia in Uzbekistan Igor Kamynin held a working meeting with a delegation from Tyumen region as part of a business mission organized with the support of the regional export support center and the regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Pavel Bukhanov, Head of the Representative Office of Russian Export Center JSC, also took part in the event.

Tyumen region is actively developing cooperation with Uzbekistan. At the end of 2021, the foreign trade turnover of the region with the republic increased by almost 70%, amounting to more than US$26 million.

Currently, the region is developing new mechanisms to stimulate regional companies to work in foreign markets, and is studying the experience of other subjects of Russia.

As part of the business mission, companies in the region will hold a series of B2B meetings with potential Uzbek partners.
