Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 January, two teenagers drowned in a canal passing through the Inoklik mahalla in the Gulistan district. The Prosecutor General's Office said this.

According to the data, on the day of the incident, the deceased were together with three other teenagers in a Gentra car. The driver, moving along the road past the canal, lost control, causing the car to fall into the canal.

Three teenagers were able to get out of the car by breaking out the windows and made it to shore. However, two twin brothers aged 16 remained under water. The search for their bodies continues.

Currently, the investigation into the incident is being conducted by the Investigation Department under the Department of Internal Affairs of Syrdarya region.
