Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23 April, a fatal traffic accident occurred in Karmana district of Navoi region.

Students from school No. 11 in Navoi, as well as schools No. 5 and No. 7 in Karmana district (grades 8-9) took someone else’s Matiz car and went to Nurata district of the region. The car was driven by minors who did not have a driver’s license.

On the way back, the student behind the wheel lost control and the car got into an accident.

As a result, two students died on the spot. The third was taken to the central hospital of Karmana district with serious injuries. Now he is also in serious condition in the intensive care unit.

An examination has been ordered and an investigation is underway to find out whose car it was.
