Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Until the end of this year, two metro stations in Tashkent will temporarily stop working due to planned preventive measures. We are talking about the Turkiston and Yunusobod stations on the Yunusabad line.

Stations are scheduled to close on 26 August. Within four months, specialists will carry out the necessary preventive work.

At the same time, train traffic will continue as usual between Shahriston and Ming Urik stations, and this will be accompanied by a reduction in the interval between trains to five minutes.

For the convenience of passengers, during the closing period of these stations, the movement of buses (metrobuses) with free transportation between the Turkiston-Yunusobod-Shahriston stations will be organized. These buses will run from 06:00 to midnight, providing transport services for travelers.
