One of the projects envisages strengthening the health of the population of Kegeyli district and improvement of the medical service of the residents of remote villages, UzA reported.
The Environmental movement will supervise the rural medical station in Kegeyli village, where medical equipment worth 22 million soums and 30 types of medicaments worth 5 million soums was delivered.
“Now the village residents don’t have to travel to the district center of Nukus (capital of Karakalpakstan) to see a doctor,” Nuriya Aytjanova of the movement’s Karakalpak council said. “They can receive a diagnosis and get treatment right here.”
The second project of the Environmental movement is aimed at development of the agriculture in Amudarya district.
