Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 14 November, the two-day international forum “Invest in Karakaplakstan” started in Nukus with the participation of about 70 representatives of major international organizations, foreign business circles and diplomatic missions in Uzbekistan.

The organizers of the event are the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, Jokargy Kenes and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

The first day for the participants of the international forum will be organized study tours to large production facilities such as: Nukus Wine Plant LLC, JV Nukus Balyk, Khodzheliagrosanoat Center LLC, UzKorGaz Chemical JV, Kungrad Soda Plant and other enterprises.

In addition, it will be possible to get acquainted with the production and export potential of the republic within the framework of the national exhibition of manufacturers - “Made in Karakalpakistan”. During the exhibition, new investment projects planned in the republic will be presented.

Interested investors and businessmen can also familiarize themselves with a number of projects planned in the Republic of Karakalpakstan on the Investment Portal of Uzbekistan.

On the second day of the international forum, it is planned to hold industry presentations that demonstrate the wide possibilities of the republic, familiarize themselves with the benefits and preferences provided, as well as organize negotiations in the B2G and B2B format, where it is planned to sign joint agreements based on the results.

As the organizers themselves note, an investment forum of this scale is being held for the first time in Karakalpakstan and its goal is to reveal the region’s investment attractiveness for potential investors, to organize an active platform for the implementation of business projects with the participation of foreign capital.
