Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In a recent statement, Fahrettin Altun, the Communications Director of the Republic of Türkiye, affirmed the nation’s steadfast commitment to supporting Palestine. The announcement came in response to what Altun described as efforts by the Israeli Prime Minister and Foreign Minister to divert attention from what he called "war crimes against civilians."
Altun criticized the Israeli government for allegedly spreading disinformation regarding their actions in Gaza and accused the leadership of Israel of resorting to lies about Türkiye. He asserted that President Erdoğan, known for his outspoken stance, would continue to speak the truth despite attempts to discredit him.
"The whole world saw what the Israeli government has been doing in Gaza for more than a month. No amount of disinformation can conceal the facts," Altun stated.
The Communications Director accused Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu of building his political career on hindering any chance of peace and suggested that Netanyahu cannot handle the truth about what Altun referred to as the "senseless war" targeting Palestinian civilians.
"Netanyahu and extremist elements like him are perpetrators of occupation, ethnic cleansing, and war crimes. They have no interest in building peace in this region and will continue to push for war at any opportunity they get," Altun declared.
Calling for global action to achieve lasting peace, Altun urged the world to unite against what he described as Israeli politicians’ insistence on perpetual violence. He emphasized the need to deprive them of their "worst instincts" by working together for a fair and just peace.
Altun condemned the alleged crimes against Palestinian civilians committed by Israeli politicians, asserting that they have already lost in the court of public opinion. He dismissed attacks on Türkiye’s leadership as lies and slander, maintaining Türkiye’s commitment to peace in the face of what he called Israel’s "systematic warmongering and disinformation campaigns."
The statement concluded with a resolute declaration: "Türkiye will never abandon Palestine!"
